Our history
1990
The Lewinnick Lodge, a small cottage complex with garage and swimming pool, was acquired by Peter & Jacqui Fair.
1991-2
The Lewinnick tea rooms opened serving sandwiches and cream teas.
1992-1999
Acquired a licence to sell alcohol and steadily increased food offering. By the end of the 90’s the success of the lodge had outgrown the old residential building from which it traded. Plans were drawn up to extend and completely refurbish.
2000
The original lodge was all but demolished to create a much larger bar, restaurant, kitchen & cellar – the new Lewinnick Lodge was born!
2000
Acquired the Plume of Feathers, Mitchell as a derelict public house. Complete refurbishment of the public house and renovation of the old barns and stables into 7 boutique letting rooms.
2004
Completion of new prep kitchen at ‘The Lodge’ to supply very busy service kitchen upstairs.
2008
Expansion of car park at ‘The Lodge’ to allow for 70 cars and emergency services access.
2009
Completion of the new 80 seat conservatory extension to the Plume of Feathers, adding a contemporary twist to the original bar.
